My name is Agnieszka Labedzka, and I am the Portrait Artist behind Alice Stone Art.
Originally from Poland, I found my home among the quiet landscapes of Fife, Scotland, where I live a slow, simple life inspired by nature, old stories, and the beauty found in ordinary moments.
I don't see myself as a photographer. I am a portrait artist. Photography is simply one of the mediums I use to create timeless portraits
Every portrait begins long before I press the shutter. It starts with getting to know the person in front of my camera - their story, their character, their quiet strength. My goal is never to simply capture what someone looks like, but to reveal something of who they are..
Nature is at the heart of both my life and my art. Woodland walks, changing seasons, weathered textures, wild flowers, antique fabrics, and forgotten treasures all find their way into my creative process. I love blending these elements to create portraits that feel as though they belong to another time while remaining deeply connected to the present.
I have a special love for creating portraits of women and children.
With women, I seek to celebrate quiet strength, grace, and individuality, creating artwork that reminds them of the beauty they so often overlook in themselves.
With children, my purpose reaches beyond making beautiful images. Childhood is fleeting, precious, and wonderfully untamed. I want every portrait to preserve not only how they looked, but who they were—their curiosity, imagination, confidence, and spirit.
Each session is carefully crafted with intention, patience, and attention to detail, resulting in artwork designed to become part of your family's story for generations.
I don't create portraits to show people how they look. I create them to remind them who they are..
